The talented duo Clarisse Godet and Benjamin Louf met whilst studying oenology and viticulture. Together they bring in 10 years of experience from around the world, including France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Chile.
It was in 2021 that they decided to create their own domaine. They started by working with abandoned vines of Chenin Blanc in the appellation of Touraine Azay-le-Rideau. Today, they manage 4.5ha of land, planted with Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Grolleau Noir.
Their vineyards are located in Rivarennes where the Loire river meets the Indre River in Touraine, a cool climate valley known for its flint and clay soils. This terroir contributes a lot of freshness and purity to the wines.
They have also recently begun raising sheep on the estate, with plans to be producing cheese in 2026.
In the cellar, all their wines are fermented with native yeasts, with no additions or filtration takes place. They prefer to focus on mono-varietal wines, believing this approach best captures the essence of their terroir.
The whites have elegant generous white fruit, subtle herbaceous tones and great mineral depth. Their Grolleau Le Grain Entier is fragrant and pure with vibrant redcurrants and fragrant floral aromas.
